Easy Father’s Day Craft For Kids

To make this simple Best Dad in the World Handprint Craft, you will need the following supplies:

WHITE CARD STOCK
NON-TOXIC PAINT – I love this set of crayola paints because it also comes with glitter paint.
DISPOSABLE PLATE or PAINT PAD
FOAM PAINT BRUSH or REGULAR PAINT BRUSH – I used a piece of small foam
DISPOSABLE TABLECLOTH – or anything to protect your work surface.

How to Make SIMPLE Hand print ART for Dad

First, print out BEST DAD HANDPRINT ART (Link at bottom of post) on white card stock. Using cardstock adds durability if you are not planning to frame or laminate.
Second, pour out non-toxic washable paint on a paper plate. I recommend using a color that contrasts the globe for easy visualization. However, if your child has a favorite color they would rather use, let them choose. It is after all, their artwork!
Next, use a foam brush to evenly paint child’s hand (or their feet, if making footprints).
Then, help the child make a hand print (or foot prints) right in the center of the globe..
Allow hand print to dry. It doesn’t have to be completely dry, just dry enough where the paint won’t smudge.
Finally, have your child/student sign their name and age at the bottom of the printable. If the child/student is not old enough to write, fill it out for them.
