This adorable strawberry themed mother’s day handprint art has the text on top: “I love you so BERRY much”

Right below are two strawberry leaves without any strawberries. This is where you put your child’s handprints to create strawberries.

Alternatively, I’ve also included a portrait version which only has one blank strawberry leaf if you prefer to make only one handprint strawberry.

Finally, at the bottom of the printable is the text “Happy Mother’s Day”.

Free Printable Mother’s Day Strawberry Handprint Art

Look at these two blank printables! Without your child’s handprints, the art piece itself looks super super empty and boring!

This strawberry themed mother’s day handprint art printable comes in PDF format so you can easily download and print. There are two versions available. One in landscape view with two strawberry tops (calyces) and one with a single calyx. Choose the version that you like!

Also, don’t forget to write down the year somewhere on the printable (or on the back)so you can remember how old the child is when looking back.

Easy Mother’s Day Craft For Kids

To make this simple Mother’s Day Strawberry Handprint Craft, you will need the following supplies:

• MOTHER’S DAY STRAWBERRY HANDPRINT ART PRINTABLE – Link at bottom of Post
• WHITE CARD STOCK
• NON-TOXIC PAINT – I love this set of crayola paints because it also comes with glitter paint.
• DISPOSABLE PLATE or PAINT PAD
• FOAM PAINT BRUSH or REGULAR PAINT BRUSH – I used a piece of small foam
• DISPOSABLE TABLECLOTH – or anything to protect your work surface.

How to Make SIMPLE MOTHER’S DAY Hand print ART

1. First, print out STRAWBERRY HANDPRINT ART (Link at bottom of post) on white card stock. Using cardstock adds durability if you are not planning to frame or laminate.
2. Second, pour out non-toxic washable paint on a paper plate. I recommend using bright red which recreates the strawberry. However, if your child has a different favorite color they would rather use, feel free to use another color. It is after all, their artwork!
3. Next, use a foam brush to evenly paint child’s hand.
4. Then, help the child make a hand print (or hand prints) right below the strawberry leaves, in the white space.
5. Allow hand print to dry. It doesn’t have to be completely dry, just dry enough where the paint won’t smudge.
6. Finally, allow handprint to dry complete and you are done!

Extra (optional) Touches for Handprint Strawberry Art

• For preschool aged or older kids who can write, they can sign “Love, (their name)” at the bottom of the card.
• Print on regular paper and laminate for extra durability.
• Print on regular paper and put it in a photo frame as a nice display gift.
• After laminating, punch two holes at the top and thread a ribbon through. Use the ribbon to create a “hang loop” so this artwork can be hung up.
