Free Printable Christmas Holiday Handprint Art

This simple printable has a set of festive lights garland with two decorative hollies on either end of the garland. Right above the garland is the text “May your holidays be MERRY & BRIGHT”.

Hanging beneath the festive lights garland are three light large light bases. This is where you will “stamp” the child’s hand to create handprint “lights”.

See this blank template? Without your child’s handprints, the art piece itself looks super super empty and boring!

Easy WINTER HOLIDAY Handprint Craft For Kids

To make this simple Winter Holiday Handprint Craft, you will need the following supplies:

• MERRY & BRIGHT HOLIDAY PRINTABLE – Link at bottom of Post
• WHITE CARD STOCK
• NON-TOXIC PAINT – I love this set of crayola paints because it also comes with glitter paint.
• DISPOSABLE PLATE or PAINT PAD
• FOAM PAINT BRUSH or REGULAR PAINT BRUSH – I used a piece of small foam
• DISPOSABLE TABLECLOTH – or anything to protect your work surface.

How to Make SIMPLE THANKSGIVING Hand print Craft

1. First, print out MERRY & BRIGHT HOLIDAY PRINTABLE (Link at bottom of post) on white card stock. Using cardstock adds durability if you are not planning to frame or laminate.
2. Second, pour out non-toxic washable paint on a paper plate. I recommend using fall colors such as red, orange, or gold as it goes nicely with the pumpkin. However, if your child has a different favorite color they would rather use, feel free to use another color. It is after all, their artwork!
3. Next, use a foam brush to evenly paint both of child’s hand.
4. Then, help the child make their hand prints, with the base of their palm on each of the light base.
5. Allow hand print to dry.
6. Sign child’s name (or have the child sign their name if they can), and write the date when you are finished!
