Are you a last minute gift packer like me? These ready-to-print Christmas gift tags will come in super handy to add a little extra fun and personality to your gifts!
I’ve always loved adding a gift tag to my gifts. To me, it’s like the last finishing touch that makes the gift wrap complete (like a cherry on top of your ice cream).
On top of that, it’s a quick and easy way to mark that you’re the sender without writing a card (believe me, I’ve sent birthday presents to kids birthday parties and forgotten to write who it’s from!!).
So today, I will be sharing a set of free printable Christmas gift tags to make your life easier around the holidays.
Free Printable Christmas Gift Tags PDF
This beautiful set of Christmas gift tags come with 8 designs. 4 are in landscape view and 4 are in portrait view. All 4 of the landscape gift tags have a designated area for you to write “TO:” and “FROM:”.
2 of the portrait gift tags have a “FROM” designation and the other 2 just gift tags.
Use the design you like! Although I personally think using all of them for different gifts is more fun!
How Can I Make My Own Christmas Tags?
These Christmas gift tags are super easy to make! All you need to do is download the ready-to-print gift tags, print, cut them out, make a hole punch at the center and you can use them wherever you like!
Just adding a simple thing as a gift tag will really elevate the look of your gifts!

How to Make Free Christmas Tags
Materials & Tools
- CHRISTMAS GIFT TAG PDF – Link at bottom of Post
- HOME PRINTER – I have the HP Deskjet 2755e because of the HP instant ink program, which I highly recommend. It costs about $1.79 for 10 pages of printing a month. Unused pages rollover!
- WHITE CARD STOCK
- PAPER SCISSORS or PAPER CUTTER
- SINGLE HOLE PUNCH
- RIBBON or YARN
First, download and print out Christmas Gift Tags PDF file. Jump HERE to learn how to download.
Next, cut them out using scissors or a paper cutter. Make sure to cut on the inside of the black lines so they don’t show up after you cut them out.
Then, use a hole punch to punch out the hole at the middle of the tag. Grrrr…could not find my single hole punch anywhere..thus using a 3 ring hole puncher. Not as easy but still works!
Tags all cut out and hole punched.
Tie a ribbon or yarn to it and your tag is ready to be used!
Attach it to the ribbon of your gift, or to the outside of a gift bag. Your gift recipients are SO going to appreciate this extra touch!
