Secondly, each Happy Mother’s Day Card Printable comes in 2 versions:
● One with “Love, ______________” at the bottom of child’s shirt.
● One with verse “Every time I think of you I give thanks to God. Philippians 1:3” at bottom of shirt.
Finally, there are also 3 versions of the heart that each of the child holds:

Materials for Mother’s day DIY Card
To make this easy DIY Mother’s Day Hug Card, you will need the following:
- FREE MOTHER’S DAY HUG CARD PRINTABLE – available in the MindyMakes Library. See below for details on how to subscribe and download.
- CARDSTOCK – for printing the cards. I don’t recommend using regular paper as the cards will be flimsy.
- CRAFT SCISSORS
- GLUE STICK (I’ve tested many brands of glue stick, and AVERY GLUE STICK works the best, imo!)
- COLORING PENCILS, CRAYONS, GLITTER PEN, MARKERS, ETC – for decorating.
Homemade Mother’s Day Card
These mother’s day hug cards are extremely easy to make! Just follow these 4 easy steps:
- Print out the version that best suits your needs.
- Have your student/child color and decorate the cards however they like it.
- Let your student/child write in their name if they know how. Otherwise, write it in for them.
- Give it to mom, aunties, grandmas, aunties, and more!
Your recipients will be more than delighted to receive their adorable card!
