This DIY Photo Ornament Craft Printable comes with 5 pages. There are 4 variations of ornaments in 2 different sizes. Print the ones you like or print the entire set and make a bunch!
The small ornament measures approximately 3.8″ (9.65 cm) wide and 4.5″ (11.43 cm) tall. The large ornament measures approximately 5.4″ (13.7 cm) wide and 6.8″ (17.27 cm) tall.
Small ornament fits photos that are at around 2.5″ x 2.5″. Large ornament fits photos that are at around 4.25″ wide by 3.75″ tall.
Easy Christmas Craft for Kids
To make this easy DIY Photo Ornament Craft, you will need the following supplies:
- DIY PHOTO ORNAMENT PRINTABLE – Link at bottom of Post
- WHITE CARD STOCK – Recommend printing on cardstock if planning to use as is. If planning to laminate, regular printer paper is fine.
- CRAFT SCISSORS
- CRAYONS, COLORING PENCILS, MARKERS, GLITTER, STICKERS – or whatever else you like.
- SINGLE HOLE PUNCH
- GLUE STICK
- YARN or RIBBON.
- LAMINATING MACHINE (optional, if wanting to laminate the project).
- LAMINATING SHEETS(optional, if wanting to laminate the project).
DIY Photo Ornament Craft Step-by-Step
First, print out DIY Ornament Craft Printable in black & white, either on cardstock or on regular paper (if planning to laminate).
Next, use crayons, colored pencils, markers, glitter pen, stickers an more to decorate the ornament.
Then, cut out the ornament following the black outline, and also cut out interior white part of the ornaments.
Ornaments all cut out ready for photos!
Next, trim your photo so that it fits within the borders of the ornament. Use glue stick to stick it to the back of ornament.
Then, press all around to make sure photo is nicely adhered to back of ornament. If you are wanting to laminate the craft project, now is the time to do it.
Next, use single hole punch to punch a hole at the top of the craft.
Finally, thread a ribbon (or yarn) through the punched hole and you are finished!
